At Mellor Metals we have invested in state-of-the-art plant, allowing us to process scrap metal efficiently, whilst keeping emissions to a minimum. To prepare the scrap metal for its onward journey and for efficient haulage, the material is densified using a shear baler. Our shear has the capability to process in excess of 100 tons of oversized scrap and car shells per day. Using a container inverter to lift an empty container and tilt it 90 degrees, we are able to load the scrap metal through the container doors with a grab handler. Trading this way ensures we're able to offer our customers top market prices on a regular basis from our metal recycling facilities in Great Ellingham, near Attleborough.
