Megahout & Plaat was founded in 1999 with the aim of supplying high-quality spruce wood and sheet material to the wood processing industry. We want to achieve this by continuously focusing on new production methods, logistics and packaging, in order to lay a strong foundation for the future of our company and our customers. By delivering consistent quality and by constantly focusing on the wishes and requirements of our customers, our company is experiencing above-average growth.

By continuously investing in our employees and in ultramodern machines, such as finger jointing lines, planing lines and APS crosscut saws since our foundation, Megahout & Plaat has grown over the years into a leading wood processing company and a reliable partner for its customers. In 2014 we were able to realize a completely new wood processing and logistics center in Drachten. In 2017, we greatly increased our capacity through the establishment of Megahout & Plaat Vroomshoop BV. This location has now been transformed into a fully modernized business unit, with which we can optimally serve our customers in the East and South of the Netherlands.

Megahout & Plaat's pinewood is imported from Scandinavia, Russia, Estonia and Latvia. In our modern factories, we process this high-quality spruce wood into semi-finished products for industry. For wood applications for roof construction, facade construction, garden houses, trade and packaging, as well as for the agricultural sector, you have come to the right place. For every timber request, our employees look for an optimal solution in production, logistics and packaging. Megahout & Plaat is therefore the largest and most prominent wood supplier in the Netherlands.
