Meeker Cooperative is a member-owned cooperative that was founded in 1935. Besides providing our members with electricity, we also offer Heartland Security Services and Exede high-speed internet service.

We are proud to have served the area as a premiere provider of electricity since 1935. Meeker Cooperative Light and Power Assn. is a member-owned cooperative that provides electricity and other services to 8,700 residential accounts, businesses and industries in six central Minnesota counties: Meeker, Kandiyohi, McLeod, Renville, Stearns and Wright. Meeker currently services 11 substations and approximately 1,875 miles of electric line with about 4.6 members per mile of line.

We are owned by the people we serve.

We are governed by our Board of Directors, who are elected during our annual meeting. At Meeker Cooperative Light and Power Assn., we are continually exploring opportunities to deliver the most efficient, economical and reliable services and products to our members.
