MDS group of companies started with the formation of MDS Energy, Ltd., an oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) company based in Western Pennsylvania, about a 40 minute drive northeast of Pittsburgh in Kittanning, Armstrong County. Under the guidance of president Michael D. Snyder, a third generation member of the Snyder family, the company quickly grew from its original two employees and offered its first investment partnership in 2006.Seeing the opportunity to decrease costs and improve quality of work, MDS took its first step towards vertical integration with the founding of sister company First Class Energy LLC in 2007. First Class Energy is a full service drilling/construction/service company.  FCE does the excavation work, drills the wells, installs the pipeline to take the gas to market, etc. First Class Energy has drilled over 1,000 wells in the last six years for both MDS partnerships and third party competitors, making it one of the most experienced in the region.In 2011, MDS offered its first investment through the broker/dealer community. Upon the accumulation of a seasoned wholesaling, back office, and management staff, MDS Energy Development, LLC was formed to sponsor and act as the managing general partner of our private and public offerings. MDS Securities was formed to act as the Dealer-Manager for the offerings.We are currently embarking on yet another aggressive growth period as we expand our suite of energy directed investment offerings in 2015
