Max Müller founded a trucking company at Buchentalstrasse 21 in St.Gallen with 11 horses and a 5 to truck. In 1966, the truck stop was transformed into what is now the Max Müller AG stock corporation. The current office and operations building at Martinsbruggstrasse 98 in St.Gallen was moved into in 1974. On November 22, 1995, the disposal facility was put into operation at the same location. In spring 2000 the recycling center was opened on Martinsbruggstrasse.
