Max Aicher Recycling GmbH was founded in 1996 as a company of the Max Aicher Group, Freilassing . With the recycling company in Nuremberg, which was taken over in 1997, and the establishment of the Nuremberg branch, a company has emerged in recent years that is active in various areas of the recycling industry and now employs over 70 people in Nuremberg, Amberg and Lauingen.

We trade and handle scrap and deliver it to steel mills and foundries across Europe. We are a competent partner of industrial companies in questions of supply and disposal, as well as in environmental strategic issues.

Raw Material Scrap

The importance of recycling used iron items was recognized as early as the Iron Age. The industrial use of steel scrap has developed rapidly and continuously, especially since the invention of the Siemens-Martin melting process (1864).

Today steel scrap is a product that is traded around the world and is the same as primary raw material. Only iron and steel is 100% recyclable. MAR therefore makes an important contribution to protecting our natural resources.
