Community involvement
Community involvement is more than just a core value at Matrix PDM, it’s a passion. We are committed to creating strong relationships in the communities in which we live and work and believe that we have a responsibility as a corporate citizen to share what we can and give back to those less fortunate.
We encourage our employees to be active in the community and support charitable organizations. Our employees have organized food drives, sponsored Toys for Tots programs, walked for the Colitis Foundation, beautified parks and community centers as well as given their time and money to a host of deserving organizations.
Services
Building on a rich history that spans many industries, three teams have come together to form Matrix PDM Engineering. The original Tulsa based MSE Engineering Services, PDM Engineering Services and EDC Engineering Services have combined their expertise and vast industry knowledge to offer our clients a wider range of engineering services.
Matrix PDM engineers are a multi-disciplined group of professionals with skills in civil and foundation construction; mechanical instrumentation and controls; electrical and structural requirements for atmospheric terminals; LNG tanks and terminals; material handling systems and power facility construction and maintenance.
Material Handling
Matrix PDM Engineering’s subsidiary, EDC, has over 40 years of experience offering technical expertise in design and installation of material handling systems. EDC has completed many innovative and diversified projects throughout the world. These projects include many of the world’s largest handling systems for ocean-going self-unloading vessels, port terminals, overland conveying systems, stacking, reclaiming and blending systems, aggregate plants and bulk handling for environmental processing, power and the mining industries.
Our design engineering expertise includes:

- Mechanical/structural engineering
- Turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) capabilities
Aboveground Storage
Matrix PDM Engineering has in-house engineering and drafting capabilities to support all facets of the tank and vessel services we offer. Our engineers and designers are well versed in industry standards and regulations including API 620 / 650 / 653, AWWA D-100 and AMSE Section VIII Div. 1 and 2.
The engineering department has professional engineers licensed in virtually every state and most Canadian provinces. Many of our engineers participate on industry committees and are involved in the development of quality standards for such industry groups as:
- American Petroleum Institute – API 650, 653, and 620
- American Concrete Institute – ACI 376
