Located in Oshkosh, WI, Mathfab has been serving a wide range of customers since 1900. Our 40,000 square foot fabrication facility is complete with overhead cranes and lifts to handle any job.

HISTORY

Walter Street Location

Founded in 1900, started as a small blacksmith shop located on 45 W 6th Ave in Oshkosh, WI. In the 1970s, the Walter Street location was purchased. In 2007, Donald “Bucky” Laabs became the current owner of the company.

Snell Road Location

Enterprise Steelfab was formed in 1929 to serve a place in the custom fabrication industry. Viking Steel established in 1984 to provide area commercial, industrial and highway contractors with fabricated reinforcing steel.

Visten, Inc is a fabrication company that was established in January 2005 by merging Viking Steel, Inc. and Enterprise Steelfab, Inc. Visten specialized in Wisconsin DOT Railings, miscellaneous fabrications, wastewater steel fabrication, and pedestrian bridges.

In 2011, Mathfab purchased the assets of Visten to enhance their abilities and increase tonnage and workforce.

Wyoming Location

Wyoming was initiated to add additional in-house engineering, drafting and detailing. The facility is one of the largest employers in Basin, Wyoming and has been in business for about 10 years.
