At the beginning of 1990, Marius Pedersen A / S Denmark established its first contacts in what was then Czechoslovakia and offered its experience and financial resources in order to start dealing with the hitherto neglected area of ​​waste disposal. The aim was to solve the modern way of waste management in a substantial part of the region of Eastern Bohemia.

History of Marius Pedersen

1925 - Marius Pedersen is founded in Denmark . Under the leadership of its sole owner, Marius Pedersen, the company focused on road construction until the end of the 1960s.

1935 - The company registered the first patent for the construction of a road compaction machine, one of the first machines is still in the local museum.

1970 - The company was among the first in Denmark engaged in addressing issues associated with the disposal and utilization of waste.

1990 - Marius Pedersen enters the Czech market.

1995 - Marius Pedersen enters the Slovak market.

2000 - the company began to develop in the Czech Republic and Slovakia other services related to the maintenance of public spaces and roads.

2001 - The property between Marius Pedersen and VIVENDI Environnement is merged and Marius Pedersen becomes part of a multinational global company providing services in the areas of: water, energy and heating, waste management and public transport.

2003 - VIVENDI Environnement adopted the new name VEOLIA Environnement .

2008 - Marius Pedersen included facility management in its portfolio of services .

2014 - VEOLIA Environnement sold its business stake in the Danish company Marius Pedersen to the Entreprenør Marius Pedersens Fond , the company's second shareholder. After thirteen years, the fund is again the 100% owner of Marius Pedersen A / S Denmark.
