Mansfield Redemption Center / Commonwealth Enterprises is a state operated bottle and can redemption center. The program was located at the Wrentham Developmental Center until March 16, 2013. In order for the program to be more integrated into the community we moved to our permanent location at 75 Forbes Boulevard, Mansfield, MA. Our other location, Town Line Redemption Center, originally started on Paul A. Dever grounds and later moved into the community at 455 Somerset Ave, N. Dighton. It had spent almost 20 years at this location and in September 2016 moved to 1901 County Street, Dighton, MA. In this new store front location, our individuals are able to assist customers with the product as it is brought in and then help to process the cans which is then shipped to Mansfield Redemption for delivery to our distributors.
Commonwealth Enterprises functions as a work training and employment program for people with developmental disabilities who need help choosing, getting and keeping a job. Presently, Individuals receive assistance from one of our two locations: Mansfield and Dighton. In addition to their work and skills training in the redemption centers, individuals will have the chance to volunteer and work in the community.
