Harry Manning and his wife Rose opened a 300 square-foot location in Foley in 1949. Today, their son, Glenn Manning continues the family tradition from our downtown Foley location consisting of a beautiful, expansive showroom and a jewelry repair/custom manufacturing facility.

Manning Jewelry is not only a jewelry store, but also a jewelry factory. We manufacture and design our own line of tropically inspired jewelry, "Islands”, made with diamonds, gemstones, sterling silver and karat gold, most pieces are one-of-a-kind or custom designed. Manning Jewelry can handle the most delicate repair work, and we have a state-of-the-art custom design department using the latest 3-D technology to produce jewelry from concept to finish piece …all under one roof. Glenn Manning is an industry and community leader as well as an inventor. He created Speedwire, a tool recognized by the Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America for its accuracy and precision in the laser welding process. He has received numerous service and leadership awards, and is a past Chairman of the Board of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and is president of the Alabama Jewelers Association.
