Eddie is recognised as a world leader in the renewable energy industry demonstrating his ability to identify the best opportunities globally and put the most effective people in place to deliver them.  He has received numerous accolades during his career including the prestigious Poul La Cour awarded to him by the European Wind Energy Association in March 2014.

Since the company’s inception in 2008, it has over 50 renewable energy projects in development and construction.  Mainstream’s core business is to develop, finance, construct and operate both onshore and offshore wind and solar (PV) projects.

The experienced team at Mainstream possess all the skills and experience required to design, develop, build and operate wind energy, from choosing sites and designing the project (for maximum power performance and minimum local impact), through the planning and consenting stage (including environmental assessment and financing), right up to the construction and operation of a generating wind farm. We ensure projects are designed to generate power at the most competitive prices.

Mainstream’s experience in PV is known in industry.  With over 100MW’s becoming operational in South Africa in the coming months, the team have the know-how, resources, and project management capabilities to develop, construct and operate solar fields for large scale PV plant.
