Located in Portland, Oregon, Madden Fabrication is a metals fabrication facility serving the industrial, commercial and residential construction industries. We provide you with service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to meet your scheduled maintenance or emergency repair needs, and to help prevent costly downtime.Madden Fabrication can provide shop-fabricated products and field installation or repairs to meet your specific requirements or detailed specifications.  We have also provided clients with custom ornamental steel work combining elements of rolling, laser cutting and casting work. Our History
Madden Fabrication was founded in 1992 as a division of our parent company, Madden Industrial Craftsmen, Inc. (MICI). Madden Fabrication supported MICI in project shut-down work at the many pulp and paper mills for which MICI furnished skilled craftspeople on an annual basis. During shutdowns, Madden Fabrication supplied tools, equipment and prefabricated metal products such as catwalks, ladders, handrails, equipment guards and pedestals, pipe spools, and whatever else was needed to execute the scheduled shutdown work.
In addition to supporting MICI, we continued to build our shop capabilities and our own customer base. Madden Fabrication quickly diversified into residential and commercial construction, manufacturing and facility maintenance work. Our long-term vision was to invest in our people and our facility in order to continually improve and grow to meet the needs of our customers. Today, we pride ourselves on our ability to help customers by making their challenges our challenges, and helping them either directly or through our talented industry partners.

Madden Fabrication is run by company President Greg Madden, with assistance from family members Paul, Ken, Beth, Caroline, Chris, Evan, Kelsey and Jenny. Ron and Isabelle Madden founded Madden Fabrication and, as the patriarch, Ron still watches over this family-owned business as it grows and expands into the next generation.

Capabilities
Madden Fabrication specializes in work with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, and we are also capable of working with many exotic metals. All our work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and standards, specifically:

• Structural steel fabrication for commercial and residential projects are in accordance with AWS Structural Welding Code or ASTM standards;
• Pipe Spools are manufactured in accordance with ANSI B-31.1 or B-31.3 Power Piping and Refinery Piping Standards;
• Storage tanks are to API-650 requirements; and
• Pressure Vessels are fabricated and repaired in accordance with ASME Sec. VIII Codes.

These capabilities make it possible for us to provide material and equipment for building construction, pulp and paper, chemical, petrochemical, geothermal, and many other industry applications.We also have a Quality Assurance Program developed under the guidelines of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers for “R” Stamp repair work and “U” Stamp for Pressure Vessel fabrication. Our program is designed to provide our customers with continued quality and workmanship on a regular basis. We can tailor our program to your specific needs based on an initial consultation.
