Lunas Construction Cleanup started from just one man. Manuel Madrigal. He came to America in the 60’s with nothing but high hopes, big dreams, and the will to make a difference. He started out washing dishes in California at a restaurant called the Jolly Troyer for only $1.25 an hour. He was trying to buy a car, and in no time he was able to move up the job ladder and afford one, for $300. The car led to bigger and better things, and soon he was working for a construction cleanup company that moved him out to Las Vegas to open the new division. It was 1979. Through the next few years, he built both his reputation and his company’s throughout Las Vegas. When the company began to go in a direction that was not up to Manuel’s high ethic standards, he separated from them to start his own business in 1988.
It was Manuel, his wife, and his children that made the Lunas team, and there was no turning back from there. Once the word got out to Manuel’s contacts that he had gone into business, the phone began ringing off the hook. Lunas construction was adding a new vehicle to the fleet almost every month. With Mrs. Madrigal washing windows and the Madrigal children sweeping floors a unity was formed that would last forever. To this day, the family is the cornerstone of the Madrigal business.
