The History Of Luckey's

Luckey’s Jewelers is a family-owned business with four generations of hands on experience that began serving wonderful customers like you in the early 1900’s. Grandfather Fred Weaks ran OK Jewelers in Biloxi, MS until he handed down his love for the business to his son Luckey Weaks in 1955, beginning the legacy of Luckey's Jewelers.

Luckey and Rose Marie Weaks followed in his father’s footsteps and made a lifelong dream come true. Their dream was to share a love for creating timeless and unique diamond jewelry with others in a welcoming, family setting. They made this a reality by opening their first jewelry store in the old Bijou Theater building on Main Street in Houma, Louisiana. Upon the demolition of the Bijou Theater, Luckey’s Jewelers made another Main Street location their home until 2008. At this point, with new family-owners Spencer and Juanita Weaks, along with their sons Taylor and Aaron, Luckey’s Jewelers moved away from Downtown to its current location on Bayou Gardens Blvd in Houma.
