Every month we produce more then 150 tons of wipers for industry.

Old clothes and textiles are predominantly sent to developing countries, where the clothing enjoys a second life and can be re-used. LMB began manufacturing industrial rags and wipers as a means to dispose of clothing that wasn’t suitable for re-use. This recycling process is essential; around 40% of clothing and textiles we receive is not of a good enough quality to be reused. This is usually due to heavy wear and tear or stains.

LMB Supplies’ recycled rags and wipers range gives old textiles a new life as strong; absorbent; cotton rags and wipers. The manufacturing process helps to remove unwanted textiles from the waste stream. They are then recycled into uniform wipers and cleaning rags for industry. A more sustainable alternative to disposable paper towels and freshly manufactured non-woven cloths.

These are mainly sold through a network of distributors across the country operating in specialist markets sectors such as automotive; aviation; print consumables; and janitorial; to name but a few. The online store offers direct sales to the public.

History Of LMB Supplies

In 1997 The Britannia Wiper Company Ltd (now known as LMB Supplies) was established. We acquired separate freehold premises and began to stock an ever-growing range of products. As times have changed however, so has the company; LMB supplies now cuts and sells over 150 tons of wipers per month and is one of the biggest wiper manufacturers in the UK.

When LMB started in business over two decades ago; being ‘green’ wasn’t high on everyone’s agenda. Today, however; it is a responsibility for us all. Many of LMB Supplies’ products are environmentally conscious; we offer products that reduce the environmental impact associated with cleaning.
