Founded in 1938 by Ruben P. Liphart, Liphart Steel Company, Inc. has served as a major source for structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabricator for over 75 years.  As a fabricator and erector of structural steel and miscellaneous metal, Liphart has successfully completed hundreds of specialized and innovative projects throughout Virginia and surrounding Mid-Atlantic States. These projects have been as varied as an ornate circular stairway, a large industrial plant, or a multi-story office building.

Liphart Steel has two fabricating facilities. Our Corporate Headquarters, established in 1938, is located in Richmond, Virginia and our Valley Division, established in 1975, is located in Verona, Virginia.  Both facilities have a staff of sales and production personnel allowing us to better serve our customers throughout the state.  When the size or schedule of a project demands, both facilities can be utilized to satisfy the most rigorous of requirements.

We maintain a strong relationship with the best and the most dependable suppliers and subcontractors in the industry.
