Lancashire Waste Recycling Limited (LWR) is a fully licenced Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) producer based on the Fylde Coast in the North West of England.
LWR takes residual waste streams, that would normally be sent to landfill, from other waste processing facilities. Any remaining recyclables are taken out of this material and the remaining is processed into a high grade SRF.
As Lancashire Waste Recycling processes much of its SRF from residual Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), its supply is sustainable and so LWR can provide customers security of supply and price stability on a long term basis.
The input material passes through shredders, screens, air classifiers and magnets. Any metals, glass, inert material, recyclable plastics and bricks are extracted leaving a mix of non-recyclable items which is then shredded down to size and can be blended to meet the specification of the user.
Lancashire Waste Recycling currently have offtake agreements in place with cement kilns within the UK.
Lancashire Waste Recycling is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 registered confirming customer's confidence in quality and environmental impacts of products and processes.
