About Company

Originally Founded in 1933. Labrie manufactured various farming and waste collection equipment. In 1971 Labrie firmly established itself as a market leader with the acquisition of Labrie Equipment. Labrie went on to introduce the first recycling, curbside collection vehicle, the Top Select , of which there are currently more than 3000 units in service today and the demand continues for more. In 1994 the launch of the all new Expert 2000 was a milestone year for Labrie; recognized as 'masters' of automation, for their design and manufacture of manual, semi-automated, and fully automated side-loading collection vehicles, they are the only manufacturer to engineer and build their own drop-frame vehicles in-house. In 2001, Labrie was the first manufacturer to become ISO 9001 certified and continues to operate to these standards by undergoing re-certification on an annual basis. In 2004 Labrie acquired its own dedicated plant for the production of automated arms, lifters, and tippers; known now as Industrial Lifters. In 2006, Labrie introduced the first, tapered body, drop frame, side-loading collection vehicle; the Expert (t) 2000 an improved version of the first Expert line - for which there is widespread demand across North America. In 2006 Labrie put into action a plan to expand the Company's product offering by acquiring certain Leach and Wittke assets from Federal Signal Corporation. This transaction added a rear-loading product platform and additional front-loading platform to the existing offer. In October 2006, the company became Labrie Environmental Group, consolidating all its brands, Labrie, Leach, Wittke and Juggler under one corporate umbrella. In January 2012, the company became Labrie Enviroquip Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Myers Power Products, Inc. Group, and added the Pendpac line products to it's current brands . Labrie Enviroquip Group distributes and supports its products via powerful network of over 50 distributorships, spanning the United States and Canada and owns and operates Labrieplus, a U.S. parts and Customer Support centre, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
