Building has been our passion for almost 100 years. Since KUTTER was founded, our claim has been: What we can do ourselves, we do it ourselves. We are firmly convinced that our own know-how in all areas is the key to success. And that lies in our own well-trained staff as well as an extensive machine and equipment park, which is also serviced, cared for and maintained in-house. In addition, we keep the hierarchies in the company as flat as possible and thus the decision-making paths short. All of this distinguishes us and what we do.

About us

Originally founded as a classic building construction company in 1925, KUTTER GmbH & Co. KG is now a medium-sized family company in the third generation, whose range of services includes not only structural and civil engineering, but also turnkey construction as well as project development and Germany's largest milling company. The headquarters are in Memmingen. In addition to the headquarters in Memmingen, KUTTER GmbH & Co. KG has around 1,000 employees in other branches in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Freilassing, Adelsdorf, Heidenau and Leipzig. In addition, the KUTTER Group has numerous subsidiaries that are spread across Germany and take on downstream construction processes. The KUTTER Group employs a total of around 2,300 people. HISTORY

The KUTTER construction company was founded in 1925 by Christian Kutter in Memmingen. What initially began classically with building construction grew over the decades into a GmbH & Co. KG with a wide range of services.

THE FIRST IN STRA ß ENFRÄSEN

At the end of the seventies, KUTTER implemented the area of road construction and renovation in the company portfolio. The hot milling machines that were originally purchased have now become cold milling machines. These enable the dismantling of bound surfaces. The removed bound material is recycled in the bound layers in the stationary mixing plants.

KUTTER has always oriented itself towards customer needs and has continuously developed its processes. That is why we invest in modern milling machines of all performance classes. In order to ensure customer proximity, locations have been set up throughout Germany that specialize in regional characteristics.

EXPANSION OF THE MANAGEMENT

Today the medium-sized construction company is run by the grandsons of the company founder, the Groll brothers, together with other managers. Rudolf Groll and Ulrich Dick oversee the areas of building construction, turnkey construction, precast concrete construction and project development. Peter Groll is responsible for civil engineering, black ceiling construction and bitumen mixing systems. The milling branch is managed by Peter and Rudolf Groll together with the branch managers. Andreas Haas is responsible for the commercial area and administration as managing director and general representative.

In addition to the headquarters in Memmingen, KUTTER has branches in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Freilassing, Adelsdorf, Heidenau and Markranstädt near Leipzig. In addition, the KUTTER Group has numerous subsidiaries that are spread across Germany. The KUTTER Group is active as a construction company in the whole of southern Germany in the areas of civil engineering and road construction. The area of milling extends over the whole of Germany.
