The company Kunststoffverarbeitung Potsdam was founded in 2008 as a sole proprietorship and has been a certified waste disposal company since 2011 in accordance with Section 52 of the Recycling and Waste Management Act (see documents). The company owner Dipl. Ing. (FH) Andreas Babernitz has been working in plastics recycling since 1997.

The company Kunststoffverarbeitung Potsdam operates plastic recycling plants in Potsdam / OT Fahrland at two locations that are approved under building law. A total of approx. 15,000 m² of paved outdoor and hall space as well as two external, each calibrated, truck scales are available.

Personnel with many years of professional experience in plastics recycling are on duty. The company currently has 15 full-time employees.
