KRC is a truly unique company in the machine tool industry, founded in 1989 by Thomas Luzak, an industrial engineer with an MBA from Syracuse University. The company fosters a strong work ethic by practicing open book management.
As the company grew, additional space was required. So, in 1997, KRC expanded its state-of-the-art facility to 35,000 square feet, complete with high bays, heavy floors, 10 ton and 20 ton overhead cranes, machining capabilities, steam cleaning and paint booths.
KRC continues to grow, and currently employs about 60 people. KRC also has a national service organization that performs minor repairs, troubleshooting, minor rebuilding, preventive maintenance and laser alignments at the customer's facility. This service group rounds out KRC's ability to provide its customers a full complement of machine tool rebuilding, retrofitting, remanufacturing, preventive maintenance and emergency repair services.
Most of KRC's growth can be attributed to repeat customers and word-of-mouth referrals from customers pleased with the outstanding service they received from KRC.
Through our years of experience and fully satisfied customer portfolio, we have become known industry-wide as a leader in the areas of retrofitting, rebuilding, remanufacturing and servicing. We also offer equally expert capabilities in the following areas:
• Preventative Maintenance
• Field Services
• Machine Calibration
• Acquisition, installation and relocation of machinery
