Regrind
We encounter engineering plastics in all areas of everyday life. In the entire automotive sector in particular, products are made from engineering plastics.
Today, products such as PCs, coffee machines, helmets, visors, electrical plugs, housings, dashboards and lenses are largely made of engineering plastics. These are manufactured using the injection molding process, extrusion or foaming.
And with all of these processing methods there are valuable residues, such as sprues and rejects. We have set ourselves the goal of optimally returning these valuable materials to the material flow.
Disassembly
Based on both detailed production process analyzes and investments, KRB (Kunststoff-Recycling-Bartl) efficiently expanded its core competencies as well as its range of services in the area of ​​disassembly at the beginning of the year.
If hybrid components (composite plastic / metal) have since been separated by manual activities, we can now optionally use the following production stages through the use of combined machines (shredders, conveyor belts, overbelt magnets, vibrators, metal kickers):
» Removal of foreign substances (manually)
» Rough machining of the hybrid components made of plastic / metal (by machine)
» Separation into ferrous metals (machine)
» Separation into non-ferrous metals (machine)
» Separation into plastics (machine)
» Grind the regrind (if necessary, run over all-metal separators) (by machine)
» Use of hydraulic presses, knee and hand lever presses
» Work more efficiently thanks to our high frequency converters
Metal inserts such as sleeves, threads, clamps, axles and bearings are removed.
The dismantling of parts, for example with metals, foams, seals, is becoming increasingly important. We have recognized and implemented this. In the meantime, a separate department has been created here.
