As a certified, medium-sized company, KOPP Umwelt offers municipalities, businesses and private households all environmental services - from classic container services to waste acceptance and recycling, street cleaning and winter services to complete disposal concepts.

More than 100 employees and trainees at two locations take care of all tasks related to disposal, cleaning and recycling for the recovery of raw materials. We do this with a modern fleet of over 60 vehicles and a wide range of different processing systems.

Our company history

1941
Founding of the company by Heinrich Kopp
Until 1970 the company carried out all types of transport, e.g. B. building materials and other freight forwarding goods such as wine and grain.

1968
Acquisition of the first skip loader
Since then, the technology in the skip container area has remained almost unchanged. Even today, skip loaders are part of the standard equipment of every waste disposal company.

1978
10 year anniversary in the service of the environment

1985
Purchase of commercial space in Erbach
With the move to Eltville / Erbach to the area of ​​today's Rheingau plant, the company was expanded to include a number of recycling facilities for reusing valuable materials.

1994
Takeover of the company Ruhlig Städtereinigung / Eltville
The area of ​​urban cleaning, sweeping and winter services was greatly expanded.

2003
Foundation of the company "Torque"
With the acquisition of commercial space in Kiedrich, the company's own repair workshop was outsourced. Commercial vehicles and construction machinery of all kinds are repaired and serviced at two locations in the Rheingau-Taunus district.

2005
Purchase of the former Bundeswehr property in Heidenrod-Kemel
A "milestone" in the development of the company's history: Almost 130,000 m² of operating space allow a wide range of development opportunities. In the following years, several processing plants have already been built at the site.

2006
Takeover of the Beck company - systematic disposal
The merger with the Taunusstein waste disposal company doubled the size of the company. At the same time, the customer catchment area was significantly expanded.

2008
Founding of the natural energy Heidenrod
Our vision: bioenergy from the region, for the region. The new company was founded to develop the Heidenrod Natural Energy Park project.

2009
Construction of the largest solar park in the region
Solar surfaces that move with the sun during the day are particularly effective.

2011
Commissioning of two TYPE Enercon E-101 wind turbines
A new type of drive technology ensures more power with lower noise emissions.

2013
Completion of the biomass power plant in Heidenrod-Kemel
When fully operational, the system generates 22 million kilowatt hours that are fed into the public power grid - supplying 5,500 four-person households.
