Ken MacDonald established a family operated septic tank business in Prince Edward Island in the early 80's. The addition of portable toilet rentals added to the growth of the business and helped to spread the word that Ken MacDonald was indeed Mr. Septic and an expert in Liquid Waste Removal.

Ken's son, Tim, carried on the name of the business until February 2009 when he sold to new owners Stephen MacKinnon, Corey Peters, and Michael Cassidy. With the familiar red and yellow septic trucks, Stephen MacKinnon, the managing partner, promotes KM Liquid Waste Removal as a company that can service the residential and commercial needs of the industry.

Renting porta potties, pumping lagoons, sludge and septic tanks are the main components of the business and Stephen is committed in carrying on the tradition of liquid waste removal so well established by Father and Son, Ken and Tim MacDonald.
