Key Equipment & Supply Company incorporated on October 1st, 1962. We began as an Elgin Sweeper and Leach refuse packerdistributor for central and southern Illinois and eastern Missouri with offices in Peoria, IL and St. Louis, MO. Robert and Nanon Hyink started the company with their first employee, Randy Rosenthal (12/14/1935 – 7/30/2010) as the Service and Parts Manager. The company has built strong relationships with municipalities and contractors throughout the years with the core philosophy of quality equipment and quality service after the sale.

Our technicians are all factory trained and certified and have a wealth of experience in providing extensive technical knowledge on a variety of equipment. They also take great pride in the satisfaction that comes from a job well done.

Both of our locations have capabilities such as: fabrication, reconditioning, body mounting and dismounting, troubleshooting and repair. We also have certified welders and hydraulic technicians. We have a fleet of Road Service Personnel for remote service work at customer’s garages or at a job site.

Today the company has grown to cover most of Illinois, all of Missouri and Kansas for most of our product lines and has recently opened in Oklahoma with sewer cleaning and inspection equipment. We service these areas with a team of Field Service Technicians and have two modern facilities in Kansas City, KS and in Bridgeton, MO. We represent a variety of environmental products such as: refuse and recycling collection vehicles and leaf collection equipment, composting equipment, street sweepers, sewer inspection camera equipment and sewer cleaning equipment.

We mount new bodies and inspect, repair and recondition all makes of equipment as well as specialize in our brands. Our technicians are continuously trained by factory experts. We stock one of the largest inventories of parts in the entire Midwest to help keep our customers equipment on the job.

Steven Hyink is the President and Marketing Manager of the company. Jeff Miles is the Kansas City Branch Manager and Mary Hyink is the Bridgeton Branch Manager. Don O’Dell is the Service Manager in Bridgeton and Jerry Woods is the Service Manager in Kansas City.
