Kevin Main Jewelry had humble beginnings, opening in 1973 as a small, one-man silver shop in the quaint beachside community of Morro Bay, California. Here, Kevin Main sharpened his skills as a designer, craftsman, and businessman while building his glowing reputation across San Luis Obispo County. In November 1998, Kevin and his wife Kathi decided to expand their business into San Luis Obispo. Today the showroom at Kevin Main Jewelry, with its pristine original hardwood floors and its rustic brick walls, is thriving right in the heart of Downtown San Luis Obispo. Kevin Main Jewelry offers a great selection of Kevin Main original designs crafted by the owner himself, as well as a wide range of pieces by various internationally recognized designers, and features a full-scale repair shop and custom design studio on-site.

Kevin is a self-taught jeweler and craftsman with over 40 years of experience as an artist. His commitment to honest, quality products and service underpins the success Kevin Main Jewelry has found today. Kevin is always seeking ways to make things better and more beautiful, and to evoke a memorable experience in everything he creates. When he’s not working at his jeweler’s bench he is probably tallying miles and memories cycling. His passion for ultra-distance cycling has taken him far and wide throughout the United States and internationally. He also loves to go for walks with his wife Kathi and faithful mascot Bixby the poodle and enjoys playing with his adorable grandkids when they come to visit.
