Commercial production company KARLA spol. s ro, based in Bruntál, was established in 1991. Since 1992, it has been engaged in the purchase and sale of metallurgical material - steel sheets in the same form and shape-fired on CNC machines. The Metallurgical Materials Division has its own handling and storage facilities in Ostrava - Kunčice, including a railway siding.

In 1993, the Hydraulics Division was established, which mainly produces hydraulic cylinders for mining mechanization on its own premises in Opava , and also deals with design and construction work in the area of ​​hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic elements, including proposals for the application of sealants.

Since 1994, the company has also been purchasing metal waste and processing it, for which it also uses its own two mobile presses and shears. At present, it operates metal waste repurchase agreements in the cities of Bruntál, Krnov, Opava, Ostrava, Humpolec, Louny, Uherský Brod and Žilina .

One of the younger divisions of KARLA is the Plastics Recycling Division . Since 2006, KARLA spol. s ro deals with the purchase of plastic waste and their processing. The plastics recycling division owns separate production and storage facilities. It is equipped with modern multi-phase processing technology. We currently process plastic waste of all categories (from special technical plastics to municipal waste) throughout the Czech Republic.

In 2008, we introduced the production of aluminum granulate . Mechanical processing of Al waste results in the production of Al granules, where by sorting on sieves we are able to supply Al granules in various fractions according to customer requirements, especially in the steel industry in the deoxidation of steel, chemical industry, etc.

The latest addition is the KARLA ENERGIZE Cogeneration Units Division . It deals with flexible solutions for the design, supply, operation and maintenance of combined heat and power and cold production units. It manufactures its own cogeneration and trigeneration units in the range of 40-4300 kWe, especially with engines and gensets from MAN, MTU and MWM.
