JVS Contracting, Inc. began operations in 2005 as a privately owned corporation. The owner, John V. Simon, Jr. has over 45 years experience in the areas of construction, demolition, recycling and solid waste. He is responsible for all activities of the business and contracting segments of JVS Contracting, Inc., which includes personnel management, equipment procurement, bidding and estimating and administration. Our many disciplines include underground utilities and site work, demolition and dismantlement, earthmoving and mine services, and stone and aggregate recycling.

We are based in Tampa and also have locations in Largo, Pinellas Park, and Mulberry, Florida. We are a State of Florida licensed General Contractor, Underground Utility & Excavation Contractor and Pollutant Storage Systems Contractor.

JVS Contracting, Inc. has the staff and equipment to complete projects in excess of $20,000,000. Our wide range of experience and equipment fleet enables us to perform in a timely fashion. JVS Contracting, Inc. prides itself on its quality service and focus on safety in a heavily regulated environment. JVS Contracting, Inc. self performs 100% of its own work on the majority of all projects and approximately 95% of its own work on all other projects.
