JunkComputer is a family owned business. We as a family care deeply about people and the environment, so excellent customer service is our highest priority.

We are one of the largest recycling companies in Oregon and have been in business for over 18 years. We have a team of 16 employees who will take care of your recycling needs in a safe and efficient manner. We are members of AOR (Association of Oregon Recyclers) and our facility have been inspected by DEQ. We are also part of Oregon’s Metro Recycling program and in the process of becoming, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and R2 (highest standards recognized by the EPA).

Our Grarantee

Our guarantee to the community and you is that we will act in the most environmentally responsible manner and with the highest level of sensitivity to our client’s security and privacy needs at all times. Any items that are brought to us will be refurbished and either reused or donated to a charity if possible. If products are too old or defective, we will have the product disassembled and precious metals, plastics, and glass content will be reclaimed. We will only work with partners that share our commitment to responsible stewardship of the environment. We’re working hard to keep our environment clean and green.

We offer the following services to our customers:

Safe Data Destruction:

We can handle sensitive media such a backup tapes, thumb drives, cell phones, etc. Our data destruction equipment can process up to 500 hard drives per hour. We offer our customers an itemized certificate of data destruction which you can pass on to your customer or keep for your own records.

Recycling:

We recycle hard drives and other old electronics. Our vehicles can haul away up to 10 pallets per trip and we can pick-up on short notice for your convenience.

Recycling bins for the office/warehouse:

We have a successful eWaste recycling bins program with over 200 active customers. If you are interested we can supply you with different size recycling bins for one time large electronic e-waste cleanups or scheduled ongoing recycling pickups based on you or your customers needs.
