Chief Junk Officer

Stephanie and her husband Dave launched the Junk Removal Nwa in late 2017. Her focus has been creating a “for purpose” organization that is dedicated to giving back to the Northwest Arkansas community. The local junk removal service business is highly fragmented in Benton & Washington County.

Because of this, there are significantly different customer experiences when it comes to junk hauling. The Junk Removal Nwa is focused on donating usable items, re-purposing or recycling. Not only does this strategy help members of the Nwa community, but it also reduces the number of items that end up in the landfill. It is Stephanie’s vision to reduce the amount of items sent to the local landfill. Our work highly values our Green Guarantee.

Our eco-friendly sort model

Our work is just beginning once we leave your home or office. We aim to keep at least 80% of the items we pick up out of the Northwest Arkansas landfill. Therefore, we work to sort out items removed into metal for recycling, items for immediate donation, and articles for repair (upcycling). This extra step can dramatically divert usable items away from the landfill. We believe we must contribute to the Nwa circular economy by creating different streams of waste management.
