Our Facility

We are located in a 15,000 square foot facility in the Maple Ridge Industrial Park close to the Golden Ears Bridge.

JP Metal Masters is equipped with 2 – 5 tonne overhead cranes and 10,000 square feet of yard space for storage and easy access for trailers for loading of fabricated items as well as offloading of steel for projects large and small.

Our office boasts 6000 square feet of space that houses our Estimating Department, Accounting Department, Project Managers and Drafting Services.

Our History

The JP Corporate Group had its inception forty years ago as JP Welding, a small trailer repair and welding shop.

JP Metal Masters opened its doors in 1972, in Port Coquitlam. In 1989, with the completion of our new facility we moved to our current location in Maple Ridge, BC. In the past four decades, JP Metal Masters has grown into one of BC’s top structural and miscellaneous steel fabricators and erectors. In 1997, we were joined by JP Drafting, to provide our clients with complete drafting and fabrication services.

In 2013, JP Metal Masters was purchased by Jean Paul Philippon Jr. from his father Jean Paul Philippon Sr.

JP Sr now enjoys golfing in sunny Palm Springs California as well as being an active consultant for the continued success of JP Metal Masters.
