Josh Steel Company, named for its founder, Isadore Joshowitz, opened as a scrap metal recycling business in 1948. Josh Steel purchases, processes, and brokers ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal generated from residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Individuals driving-in their scrap metal are welcome. Located along both the CSX railroad and the Monongahela River in Braddock, PA , we are just eight miles from downtown Pittsburgh.

We own trucks, trailers, and containers; and, provide roll-off containers, flatbeds, low-boys, and dump trailers based on customer or job needs and design.
