J.M. Die Company is a leading manufacturer of carbide and steel cold headed tooling in the Chicago Metropolitan area, and has been a constant fixture in the tool and die industry since 1990. J.M. Die is an ISO9001:2008 certified manufacturer of tight tolerance, precision tools and dies; high performance segmented tooling; and specially engineered TAPTITE® & ALTRACS® tooling for light alloy applications. J.M. Die began as a one-man operation in October 1990. Founder John Morawa opened up shop with six machines in a 2,500 square foot facility, and worked to build his business while holding a full time position at a fastener company. His dedication to the craft soon paid off, and Morawa watched J.M. Die grow steadily and thrive into a 25,000 square foot facility with over 40 employees, thanks to his commitment to quality, design and detail.
