DESCRIPTION

J&D Recyclers was established in 1999 to address the growing need for local recycling in the city of Durham. We offer fair, courteous service to customers recycling aluminum beverage cans as well as other ferrous and nonferrous metals.

J&D Recyclers enjoys continuing growth by working with our customers to help them obtain the best value for their metals with tips on the preparation and sorting of materials. Investments have been made to assure the company has adequate staff and state-of-the-art equipment to handle and process materials safely in a timely manner.

WHAT WE BUY:

At J&D Recyclers, we buy a variety of metal items. We also offer pick-up to companies with larger loads, utilizing a crane truck with trailer, a 24-foot box truck, rollback truck and utility trailers. The following is a sample list of items we buy:

J&D Recyclers is committed to maintaining the largest inventory of new and reusable metals in the area. Our yard is well organized and offers contractors, hobbyists and artists a wide range of materials at reasonable prices.

 COPPER WIRE PROCESS:

J&D Recyclers has invested in state-of-the-art wire processing equipment. This eliminates the need for stripping wire or burning plastic insulation, resulting in a safer, environmentally friendly process.

We specialize in having a large selection of surplus steel.
