1885 - Josiah B. Hudson opens JB Hudson at 230 Nicollet in Minneapolis. Fire destroys store, which reopens at 33 South Seventh Street in Minneapolis.

1929 - JB Hudson is purchased by the Dayton Company and moves into the Eighth and Nicollet Mall corner of the Dayton’s store in Minneapolis.

1982 - JB Hudson sold to Henry Birks and Sons of Montreal, Canada.
