We have a full-service team with the ability to design, engineer, manufacture and install all phases of bulk material handling systems, plate work, structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication, duct work, bins, hoppers, conveyors and spouting. We routinely work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, wear resistant plate, welded overlays, and ceramic materials. We work in all phases of material handling and have original equipment manufacturing status with the suppliers of such equipment.Our field crews are experienced in heavy industrial work and outage schedules. Our field services include cast-in-place concrete, steel erection, and millwright work. From repair and fabrication of hoppers, square-to-rounds and chutes to the design and installation of complex conveyors and material handling systems, precision and quality are always our first priorities. Our History
Jack Farrior began working for himself in 1961, operating a successful business in Raleigh, NC. In 1962 he returned to Farmville to form Farrior and Sons, Inc. with his father, Hugh Farrior, Jr.The business began working out of a small shop located at the home of Hugh Farrior, Jr. doing light steel fabrication. The business of the corporation was general construction, millwright and metal fabrication which included renovation of existing buildings, remodeling homes, new residential and commercial construction, grain facilities, feed mills and other industrial buildings.
In 1993 the company split into two companies. The metal fabrication division became Jack A. Farrior, Inc.Today, our 36,000 square foot facility on nine acres located in eastern North Carolina is linked to Interstates 95 and 40 by US Highway 264.
