Iowa Mold & Engineering, Inc. was incorporated in November of 1993 with operations beginning in February 1994. We currently employ 30 people in our 26,300 sq./ft. facility located in Belle Plaine, Iowa.

We specialize in building plastic injection, structural foam, and die cast molds up to 1000 ton press size. We pride ourselves on having in-house capabilities that include; solid model design, heat treat, micro TIG welding, polishing, and wire EDM.

Our moldmakers are highly skilled craftsman who have undergone a thorough apprenticeship before earning Journeyman Moldmaker status. Working 2 shifts covering 20 hours each day, we are able to meet the most demanding of lead-times. Tight tolerances and high precision are obtained with high end CNC machining centers and EDM equipment.

The molds we manufacture produce parts for many familiar OEM companies. These companies include; John Deere, Caterpillar, Mitsubishi Motors, Kawasaki, Polaris, Arctic Cat, Whirlpool, Electrolux, Yeti, Hon Industries, Winegard, and Bunn-O-Matic.

Iowa Metal Products Inc., a subsidiary of Iowa Mold & Engineering, Inc., utilizes precision CNC lathes and mills to machine complex parts. Specializing in parts machined from many types of Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Brass, and other exotic alloys, these parts are produced in quantities of one to many thousand. Occupying a separate 23,000 sq./ft. facility, Iowa Metal Products employ’s an additional 13 people.
