Incovo is the waste intermunicipal company of Londerzeel, Machelen, Meise, Vilvoorde and Zemst.

Interza is the waste intermunicipal company of Kampenhout, Kraainem, Steenokkerzeel, Wezembeek-Oppem and Zaventem.

We collect your waste and operate the recycling parks.

Together with the municipalities and residents, we ensure a clean municipality and we strive for less waste.

Incovo and Interza are 2 separate waste intermunicipalities, but we work together a lot. That is why we have teamed up and we have also created a common website.

Don't worry, as always, you will see the information relevant to you. All you have to do is enter your address as soon as you are asked for it. Your computer will remember that, and you will always be right anyway!

What are we doing?

Incovo and Interza are not commercial companies and cannot make a profit. The emphasis is on maximum avoidance and recycling of waste .

As a public company, we want to work together with the residents and all groups within society. Our baseline is for good reason: " Together for less waste, we help you ".

We can explain our operation with these 3 pillars:

Pillar 1: Collaboration

Incovo and Interza do not decide alone, but do so together with the boards of the affiliated municipalities. Every resident of those municipalities is a co-shareholder of the waste intermunicipal company. The opinion and cooperation of the residents is therefore of great importance.

Pillar 2: Shared goal

We want to achieve a golden result together with the residents: less waste, less illegal dumping, more recycling. It is up to us to help citizens in their assignment to sort them better and to prevent waste as much as possible. Together we work on clean streets and a beautiful living environment.

Pillar 3: Waste is gold

We are becoming ever smarter with our waste. The time when it was poured into a well in the ground is far behind us. We give waste a new future. The materials of tomorrow are made from today's waste.

Waste can therefore be a raw material, but processing still costs a lot of money. Someone has to pay for the labor-intensive collection and post-sorting and environmentally friendly processing installations (eg incinerators).

The fairest thing is that those who make a lot of waste pay a larger share of that cost. Those who make little waste pay less than those who don't pay attention. In this way we reward sorting and waste prevention.
