STARTING A BUSINESS

In that year Franz Kotzian founded the construction company Kotzian. The young company, which at that time was still based in Parndorf, was mainly concerned with rebuilding after the Second World War. The employment level at that time was 6 bricklayers and helpers.

1959

HEADQUARTERS RELOCATION

The company headquarters was relocated from Parndorf to Bruck an der Leitha, where an office building with parking halls and storage space was initially built. 1974

CONCRETE PRODUCTION

The second important mainstay was created: industrial concrete production. With the increased use of ready-mixed concrete in the construction industry, KOTZIANBETON quickly established itself. A concrete plant of the highest standard at the time was built in Wilfleinsdorferstrasse in Bruck an der Leitha, the company's current headquarters.

Truck mixers were not only supplied to their own construction sites, but also to numerous construction sites for their professional colleagues and many house builders in the area.

In addition to the production of concrete, the production and sale of concrete products followed. The range of products ranged from hollow blocks to formwork blocks to heat-insulating solid blocks.

 1980

BALLAST REMOVAL

Gravel mining is one of our three mainstays. With the opening of the Parndorf gravel plant, the raw material that is so important today for our concrete plant was secured. Along with cement, gravel is the most important component in the composition of concrete. Ing.Helmut Kotzian Managing Director

GENERATIONAL CHANGE

The sole proprietorship Baumeister Franz Kotzian was transformed into Ing.Helmut Kotzian GmbH - son Helmut led the company as managing director in the 2nd generation.
