With roots going back to 1954, CP Global (formerly IMS Group) is a group of companies involved in many aspects of the recycling and waste management industries, including: residential recycling, electronics recycling, manufacturing sort systems, developing recycling equipment components, and metal retail. 

WHAT WE DO

We love what we do because we believe our work has a positive impact on our world and environment. We are dedicated to making the world more sustainable. Such a monumental task requires teamwork, planning, and careful strategy, so we take a multi-faceted approach: 

• Building the most efficient and long-lasting sort systems in facilities around the world, ensuring that more material from the waste stream gets recovered and recycled.  
• Operating our own material recover facility in San Diego, CA, where we are contracted to process half of the city's recyclables.  
• Facilitating electronics recycling throughout the US, refurbishing and properly disposing of electronics of all kinds.  
• Operating a recycling buyback facility in San Diego, CA.  
• Buying scrap metal to be recycled and resold.  
• Offering full-circle services between our metal store (Handy Metal Mart) and our metal scrap buyback center (IMS Recycling).
