In 60 seconds, the revolutionary new KMI Sea-Lifts are able to launch or haul-out power and sailboats to 120,000 pounds and 65 feet, using public boat ramps. At speeds to 5 mph, vessels are gently supported on low pressure air bunks that eliminate stress to the hull and gunnels and will not damage under-hull fittings. Using KMI Sea-Lifts versus conventional sling machines, boats are stored gunnel to gunnel maximizing space efficiency. Both the 32-1/2 ton and 60 ton models are powered by Cummins diesel engines and driven by dual speed hydra-static drives. Drive wheels turn 180 degrees allowing extraordinary maneuverability. The open wishbone design eliminates the need for keel and side supports. A patented center hinge enables launch and recovery at lower tides on a ramp with lesser slope.
