Ideal Industries is a contract manufacturer of fabricated metal products, specializing in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Ideal is based in Vinton, Iowa, with two additional plants in Oelwein, Iowa.

At 150,000 square feet and 100 employees across its three facilities, Ideal Industries has the manpower, experience, capacity, and capability to do the job you need done.

Ideal is also an Original Equipment Manufacturer, manufacturing two lines of Ideal Industries’-branded products: Ideal Conveyance and Ideal Tile Trailers.

THE IDEAL DIFFERENCE

The Ideal Manufacturing division of Ideal Industries fabricates custom parts out of sheet metal on a contract basis, specializing in mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. We also have three different product lines that we build and sell under the Ideal brand. So where we’re different than other shops, and what creates what we refer to as the Ideal Difference, is that we understand what it takes to bring an entire product to market, not just one piece of it.

For example, looking at a part design, we don’t just look at it from the perspective of how we should take that design to the shop floor. We look at it and say, “Is this how we’d want this to work if we were the end user or if we were selling it?” or “How do we take some cost out of this thing – how do we make it safer – how do we put a better finish on it?” This mindset is what makes Ideal Manufacturing unique and makes customer satisfaction so important to the Ideal Difference.
