Collection, sorting and recovery of waste

IAC Ambiente is licensed in the area of ​​Construction and Demolition Waste collection ( RCD ) , and is equipped with means and partnerships for carrying out demolitions.

Having as its object of work the collection of different types of waste, having equipment, human and technical resources for these operations, in order to maximize the reuse and recycling of these products, thus aiming to respond to one of the main problems felt in the construction sector. civilian in Portugal.

IAC Ambiente carries out the direct collection of waste from the customer using its own vehicles, in 1.5 m3 big-bags, 6 m3 and 8 m3 containers and direct bulk cargo trucks with a capacity of 12 m3, 15 m3, 18 m3 and 22 m3.

For direct reception at our facilities, construction and demolition waste can be collected selectively or not, being transported to the facilities of Irmãos Almeida Cabral II – Ambiente SA, where they are subjected to sorting and processing operations in order to be sent to Reuse, Recycling and Recovery.

We also have the capacity to recover CDW's "in situ", with inert materials being sorted and recovered, using appropriate equipment for this purpose, such as a crusher and mill and screens, so that the inert materials to be recovered are selected. so that clean inert materials are generated from the waste.

The remaining waste will be transported for further treatment in our unit, where it will be recovered, and the non-inert materials that are left over, with a very low percentage, will be transported to an authorized final receiver.
