Hypercat Advanced Catalyst Products commenced operation in West Chester, PA in 2005 as a manufacturer of innovative products for emerging segments of the catalytic device marketplace.
In just two astonishing years personnel grew from four to twelve people, operations square footage nearly doubled, and the company's capabilities, meanwhile, caught the attention of Metalico Inc, an industry leader in scrap recycling with sales over 500MM, who purchased Hypercat in 2007.
Hypercat's manufacturing facility is 37,700 square feet in size. 19,750 of those are dedicated for catalyst manufacturing. 8,400 square feet are used for engineering and maintenance, and 9,000 square feet is set aside for laboratory testing, process development and specialty catalyst production.
Hypercat's President, Gerry Smith, is a 30+ year industry veteran, having worked a majority of that span in operations, quality, product development and general management, with wide-ranging knowledge in the emissions control of small engines, motorcycles, gasoline engines, light and heavy duty diesel and stationary applications.
Kathy Bynum is Hypercat's Sales & Marketing Manager. She has earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering also from Drexel University, and has an MBA from Penn State. Kathy's years as a Sales Manager in the stationary emissions control sector has allowed her to leverage a body of knowledge in identifying, evaluating and developing opportunities for Hypercat's diverse client portfolio.
Craig Jackson provides Engineering Sales support. He has a B.S. degree from the University of Mississippi, is a licensed Professional Geologist, and has earned an Associate in Risk Management designation. Throughout his career he has developed sales, marketing and client management relationships with a broad range of service capabilities of clients and industries.
As a leader in the manufacturer of high quality catalyst devices, Hypercat ACP™ custom designs emission control devices and provides high quality catalysts at exceedingly competitive prices.
Our developments using nano-technology gives us a competitive edge in next-generation technology through proprietary synthesis techniques for the factorial design of experiments and production of various nano-alloys with tailored properties for emissions control. These alloys use non-hazardous materials that are considered to be environmentally safe for emissions control purposes.
Available Sizes:
Rectangular - 1x1 metallics; 1x2 metallics; 2x2 metallics; plus non-standard sizes made to order, and 6" ceramic cubes.
Rounds and Ovals - Any size diameter and depth; ceramic or metallic.
Cell density - various (usually 100 - 400 cpsi) 100, 200, 300, 400, up to 1000 cpsi.
