We are a sustainable energy and waste company of 44 municipalities and 6 water boards. Our core tasks: supporting shareholding municipalities and water boards as a partner in the 'Van Gas Los' transition and making waste management more sustainable. What happens if you throw something away? Much more than most people realize. We at HVC know how to handle waste. Ever since we were founded in the 1990s, we have been making sure that we are dealing with waste in a smarter way, because there is much to be gained. Where others see waste, we see valuable raw materials. So really 'throw it away', we do that less and less.

reuse

More and more waste, such as plastic and paper, is given a second life. Or a third life. Or even a fourth. This reuse not only provides an increasingly cleaner living environment for everyone, but also income that we invest in more sustainability.

energy

Our energy, which we supply to municipalities and residents, is generated increasingly sustainably. We convert organic waste into green gas and we use heat from our installations to heat houses and buildings. We use the sun and wind wherever possible. Good for the climate and good for the people who use our services.

We prefer to work together. With municipalities, water boards, cooperatives and residents, because that provides all kinds of new solutions that make life as easy as possible for people in a sustainable way. This way, more raw materials are preserved and more and more sustainable energy is generated.

We are engaged in 11 main activities: heat development and supply, wind energy, solar energy, supply of renewable energy, energy production from biomass, separate collection, recycling, management of public space, fermentation / composting, energy production from residual waste and sludge processing.
