Four Generations Of Huiskes
The founder of the company was Bertus Huiskes. He started a wholesale business in a warehouse in Den Bosch and collected metals, rags, skins and paper. Each subsequent generation of Huiskes gave further depth to the recycling company. Bertus' son Rikus focused more on metals and mainly served the Bossche industry. The company gained name and fame from internationally. Bertus, the founder's grandson, was responsible for this. In the 1990s he opened a branch in Italy and in 2003 in China. The fourth generation is now at the helm. The brothers Dirk and Koen have given an enormous boost to the recycling of electronics and electrical appliances.
