Company history 90 years of Hubschmid 1930

The entry in the commercial register of the Johann Baptist Hubschmid haulage company, which has been in existence for a number of years, was made as a collective company Johann Hubschmid & Sohn (Johann Hubschmid, 1908). At the same time, the first small gravel plant was opened on the road to Mellingen (production of sand and binding gravel for road construction). At that time a small sensation was the purchase of the 1st Saurer truck.

1932

Opening of the second gravel works (production of unwashed concrete gravel for building construction). A little later, a crushing plant for the production of rolled ballast for road construction was added.

1936

1st tractor-Trax "Chaseside-Fordson"

1937

The Saurer truck was replaced by the 1st FBW truck. This in turn was replaced in 1968 with just under 1 million km.

1940

Expansion of the 2nd plant with a gravel washing plant

1951

Johann Hubschmid sole proprietorship (1908) | Use of the 1st Pneutrax «Michigan»

1956

From this time onwards, the earthworks were carried out mechanically and the 2nd Pneutrax «Michigan» was used.

Start of sales of PRESYN masonry mortar 1987 Hans Hubschmid (1962) joins the company.

Josef Hubschmid leaves the family company | Hans Hubschmid joins the Board of Directors (1962)

Hans Hubschmid takes over the family business (1962) | Hans Hubschmid passed away (1934)

Start of the trough service with Welaki and roll-off troughs

Participation in H. Graf AG, Zufikon

Participation in the recycling center Freiamt AG, Nesselnbach

First 5-axle tipper truck

ISO certification 9001/14001 | Installation of the first soot particle filter in construction machinery

Takeover of Rudolf Entsorgungs-Transporte, Tägerig

Execution of gunite and shotcrete works | The Hubschmid fleet is operated with environmentally friendly bio-diesel (made from used deep-frying oil).

Execution of nail and anchor work | Manufacture of complete construction pits from a single source

2010

Commissioning of a mobile caterpillar crusher with a self-propelled screening plant

2011

Fleet size: 33 trucks and 30 construction machines | Workforce: 63 employees, 3 apprentices

2016

New construction of a concrete plant with two 2.5 m 3 mixers

Takeover of Hufschmid Muldendienst AG, Fischbach-Göslikon

Fleet size: 44 trucks and 37 construction machines | Workforce: 100 employees, 3 apprentices

New gravel works with excavation washing plant and new drilling mud processing plant
