Since 1979, our mission has been to provide our customers with best available solutions to their measurement and machining challenges, and to support them in their pursuit of excellence.HS&S' 11,000 square foot building in the heart of Silicon Valley houses our Inspection Lab, Showroom, Prototype Machine Shop, Training Facility, Service Department and Technical Support Center. In order to accomplish this, our 5,000 sq. ft. facility houses a new state of the art Inspection Lab, and a showroom containing the best metrology tools and guages availalle. Our new temperature controlled Inspection Lab houses our Brown and Sharpe CMM's, Mitutoyo CMM's and all of our 3D measurement Equipment. In addition to the standard equipment in our lab, we have available two MicroVu Vision CMM's, Mitutoyo Roundness Machines, Mitutoyo Profilometer and Contour Machines, Romer "Absolute" portable CMM Arm with Kreon Laser Scanner, Renishaw Equator Automated go-no-go gage for production inspection, two Leica Laser Trackers, light force high accuracy thickness gages from Heidenhain and Mitutoyo, Renishaw XL-80 Laser System for Linear Measurement and annually calibrated hand tools.

HS&S Inc. incorporated under the state of California in 1979 and has been recognized as a key figure for manufacturing solutions for over 30 years. Originally specializing in mechanical design and automation John has independently managed over 50 technicians and engineers in  building and customization of several hundred specialized machines and machine  tools throughout the West Coast.  The result has been such distinguished achievements as being honored with multiple “Zero Defect Awards” from Lockheed Martin, among others.
