Hoffland ... progressive in industrial demolition and metal recycling
Hoffland is a progressive and renowned company that, through a number of operating companies, is engaged in both the execution of industrial demolition works and the trade in and processing of scrap metal (metal recycling). These activities are mainly carried out in the Benelux, Germany and with some regularity in the other European countries.
That's why Hoffland!
Modern demolition equipment
Hoffland has a lot of modern demolition equipment, such as hydraulic cranes (with a weight of 15 to 60 tons). These are equipped with the most advanced hydraulic scrap shears, sorting grabs, breakers and crushers. The company also owns its own means of transport, containers, forklifts and bobcats. The Hoffland team consists of highly trained and skilled employees who have a big heart for the business. Hoffland is therefore able to carry out all projects with its own people and equipment.
Craftsmanship and many years of experience
Hoffland was founded more than fifty years ago. This family business is characterized and distinguished by many years of experience, quality, specialism and craftsmanship in the field of industrial demolition work and metal recycling.
Fully certified
At Hoffland, safety, health, welfare and the environment are of paramount importance. The systems implemented at Hoffland for this purpose are certified in accordance with the (international) certificates ISO 9001, ISO 14001, VCApetro, BRL SVMS 007 and the Metal Recycling Federation (MRF) quality mark.
The History of Hoffland
In 1963 Leendert Hoffland (grandfather of one of the current directors) founded together with his son Jan Hoffland. A family business pur sang!
Hoffland rented an old coal transshipment location from the Dutch Railways in the center of Zeist. At that time, trade was mainly traded in scrap metals and various containers were put away in the region with their own container vehicles.
In 1972 Hoffland was taken over by Leendert Marinus (Leo) Hoffland. Under the leadership of Leo Hoffland, the company was further expanded in terms of metal recycling. Hoffland subsequently grew very quickly, resulting in a move to its current location in Den Dolder. From that time, Hoffland has also focused on performing industrial demolition work.
Hoffland today
In 1996, Theo Koelewijn (started working in 1989) and Elias Hoffland (started working in 1994) took over the company from Leo Hoffland and they have been at the helm of Hoffland ever since.
Theo Koelewijn and Elias Hoffland have further expanded the company into the medium-sized and modern company that Hoffland is today.
